How to Style a Graphic Tee

Image
Is anyone else obsessed with graphic tees?! I am! Especially in the summer time! They can be dressed up, dressed down and worn for so many occasions and in so many ways. I honestly believe that everyone needs a handful of good graphic tees hanging in their closet...they're perfect staples pieces for any wardrobe, any season. I guess it kind of makes sense why I built a business around designing and making graphic tees! So in today's post I'm sharing some different ways to style graphic tees, because let's be honest...one of the hardest parts about these kind of tees is knowing how to style them, what to wear them with and where to wear them.  "THE PARTIAL TUCK" The first way to style a graphic tee is the partial tuck . This is my go-to look because it's casual yet still has structure. To show y'all the partial tuck, I chose my "Take It Easy" tee and I paired it with a few different items. You can wear it with simple...

5 Life Lessons My Dad Taught Me

Image
Happy Monday! In honor of Father's Day yesterday, I thought it'd be fun to do a post about life lessons my dad has taught me! I've learned a lot of things from my dad, but here are some of the main things that have stuck with me through the years. Daddy and Me c. 1991 "Family is Everything" From an early age I can remember my dad bringing the whole family to my soccer games, my orchestra concerts...I could pretty much always count on having my own fan section. I knew that I could talk to him about anything, which is still true today. If I was having problems with a friend or feeling ignored by all the boys (man my dad had a lot of patience to raise four girls haha!), I knew he would be that listening ear and person I could turn to. He was always telli...

What I'm reminiscing about : This month marks one year since Shawn graduated from Dental School, one year since we moved across the country to Texas and one year since Shawn started his new job here. Time flies! What I'm loving : My new car!! We finally said goodbye to our old Ford Fusion and got me a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I love it so much!! What we've been up to : My mom was in town last weekend and we th...

28 Life Lessons I've Learned

Image
HAPPY SUNDAY! Sticking with this month's theme of 28 for my 28th birthday, I thought it'd be fun to share 28 life lessons that I've learned! I'm definitely not perfect and I don't always have my "ish" together, but these are some thoughts and concepts that have really helped me at different points throughout my life. So I thought I'd share them with y'all. It's a fairly long post, but it's worth it I promise! Enjoy! I don't say this lightly! It is so much easier said than done, but it has been one of the most rewarding and hard learned lessons of my life! Happiness really is a choice and we can learn to be happy even through the hardest of times. I've often found that during difficult situations and trying times is when I need happiness the most. It would be so easy to get lost in the darkness without the light of happiness. So whatever makes you happy, remember...you can choose that feeling every day, ...
