Columbus Day Weekend
This last weekend was so fun! We had dinner with some of Shawn's classmates on Friday night. One of them has a BBQ so we grilled up some steaks and they were amazing! I miss being able to grill in a backyard like back home. Yay for steaks and barbecuing! On Saturday we went apple picking just north of Boston with some friends. The colors have been amazing this fall and this was the cutest little farm. Their apple cider donuts were to die for! New England is quite famous for them and I highly recommend them to anyone traveling this way during the fall! We had a blast playing "fruit ball" (baseball with apples and a stick), picking apples, taking in the views, and spending time with good friends. Earlier in the week Shawn and I had decided it'd been WAY TOO LONG since we'd been camping, so my sweet husband suggested we go over Columbus Day weekend. Gosh I love that man! I was so excited and started looking for campsites or cabins to reserve.
