Small Shop Wednesday: Frank & Buck

Image
You guys, a friend of mine recently told me about a tie shop called Frank & Buck and they have THE CUTEST ties! They have ties for your little guys and ties for your man! Bowties, skinny ties, you name it. They have ties for weddings, church, business, the list goes on! It was such a pleasure to work with the shop owner and my hubby loved the ties I got! The quality is fabulous and the colors look great both in person and in photographs. I would definitely recommend F&B to anyone looking for ties for a wedding, a gift, school dances, or any other occasion! They have SO MANY patterns and colors to choose from...you're bound to find something (or a bunch of things!) that you love! And she has the cutest names for every tie! The first tie pictured (WESLEY) is a plaid pattern with a mix of gray, green, red, and other fall and winter colors. I love the bold pattern of this tie! It's not overbearing, but it definitely makes a statement.  My hubby paired it with ...

Some Monday Honesty

Image
Ok let's be honest, Mondays can be awful! Unless it's a holiday weekend, Monday means back to work or school. No more sleeping in. No more lazy days curled up reading a good book. No more spending the day by the pool or at the beach. When you hear your alarm go off Monday morning, you roll over and go back to sleep, you tell yourself five more minutes, and you fight to get out of bed. This is pretty much how I've always viewed Mondays. I LOVE weekends!! Friday has always been my favorite day of the week because I know it means the weekend is here!  So I decided to make myself a tee that says "I'm Not Getting Ready Today" partly to show my stubborn side and partly to lighten my Monday mood! Having my own clothing business is so convenient and handy. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I admit, every time I wear this shirt I have to laugh a little. It puts a smile on my face and makes the day a bit better! Proves I have a sense of ...

Friday Faves!

Image
Luminude // Lip Fondant // Brush // Mascara // Bag Gettin' pink and girlie today for Friday Faves haha! Ok so if you haven't noticed yet, I absolutely LOVE the bags that my samples come in from Ipsy. I promise, this is not sponsored...I just love the subscription so much! Seriously, look into it! Anyways, This pink bag is another of my faves from Ipsy. The best thing about it (besides how freakin' cute it is) is that it's tall enough for my brushes to fit in. I traveled to Dallas last week and you better believe I took this beauty to hold all my long skinny brushes. The inside is lined with a nice light pink fabric that is easy to clean. The outside has a mesh type black material over the top of the pink fabric and the back is a soft pink suede. Top it off with a rose gold zipper and you have one of the cutest makeup bags ever! This next product is something I would have never gotten for myself if I hadn't tried it in my Ipsy bag samples. ...

A Little Getaway

Image
Last week, Shawn and I snuck away to Dallas. The weather was perfect and we had a blast! We flew in Saturday night and couldn't wait to see all our nieces and nephews! I swear, they are the cutest!   My sister and her husband went on a cruise so my mom and I were watching the kids for the week. Shawn ended up being able to come with me so he could look into some dental offices and try to nail down a job for when he graduates....in less than eight months!!! I can't even tell you guys how excited I am!  On Sunday we went to church and can I just say that church is so much longer with kids!! I, as an adult, have a hard time sitting through three hours of church sometimes...I couldn't imagine being a toddler who has to sit still and be quiet when all I want to do is play and run wild haha! But we survived. Thank goodness for primary and nursery!  After church, Shawn's brother and his family came over to my sister's house for dinner. Afte...
