Happy Wednesday! Yay for short weeks! Today I'm doing a "What's Up Wednesday" post and linking up with Shay , Sheaffer , and Mel . Here's the low down on mine and Shawn's new life in Texas so far! What we're eating this week : I made a ton of this delicious pasta salad today so we'll probably be eating quite a bit of that this week. I modified the recipe a bit. I added rotisserie chicken and used gluten free rotini instead so my hubby could have it. Also on the menu are tacos with this AMAZING meat , fresh pico, shredded cheese and guac. Have y'all tried the McCormick guacamole seasoning packets ? Mix that with avocados, minced garlic, salsa, a dash of salt and tiny bit of lime juice and you're golden. Yum! Happy Friday! Cheers to a long weekend! Do you have any fun plans for Memorial Day? I do! The hubby and I are seeing "Solo: A Star Wars Story" tomorrow night! I also plan on being outside as much as possible, enjoying the 103 degree weather we're supposed to get here in Dallas. Maybe on Monday we'll BBQ! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! As mine and Shawn's time here in Boston winds down, we've been thinking a lot about the good memories and everything we've done, felt, seen, and experienced over the past four years. We've had really tough times, we've had really great times. There's been tears, there's been laughter. I've had a lot of people ask me if I'll miss it here, what we've learned, where we're moving, what's next for us, etc. So I thought it'd be fun to do a little question and answer session with Shawn about our experience here and share it with all of you! HAPPY FRIDAY! The light at the end of the tunnel is no longer just in sight...we're speedily approaching it and the days are flying by! I can't believe Shawn graduates from dental school in 21 days and that we move in 22 days!! Cue my happy dance! I've been doing a lot of reflecting and reminiscing these past couple days about our time here in Boston. I got to thinking about how the spouses of dental students are just as much a part of the dental school experience as the student is. We sacrifice, we provide, we support, we encourage and we love. Let's keep it real here. Dental school is hard. Dental school can suck. Dental school can put even the strongest of relationships to the test.  There were tears, laughter, growth, accomplishment, happiness, sadness, discouragement, encouragement, and every other emotion on the spectrum throughout our journey.
