Six Perfect Sweater Styles for Fall

Hello sweater weather!! Happiest of Mondays over here because it's finally cool enough in Dallas to start wearing sweaters! 


Ok let's talk about sweaters that are perfect for fall and super trendy this year! I created a list with six different types of sweaters, so no matter where you live and what kind of climate you're in, at least one of these styles should work for you!
RUFFLE SWEATERS
Ruffles are really popular right now! Gimme all the ruffles! Ruffles on ruffles on ruffles please. So I recently bought a couple new ruffle pullover sweaters from My Sister's Closet Boutique and I'm obsessed! Unfortunately, they're sold out but here's a bunch of cute ones that are similar! These lighter weight sweaters are perfect for fall days when it's not too cold outside but maybe there's a slight chill in the air. Or if you live in a place like Dallas where it doesn't ever really get "cold", these are good options for you!

CHUNKY CARDIGANS
Chunky cardigans are where it's at! They're the softest, comfiest, snuggliest wearable items out there. They're perfect for reading by a nice warm fire, bundling up in the crisp fall air or layering as you head to the pumpkin patch. I seriously can't say enough good things about them. I have so many from when I lived in Boston! I probably won't need them a lot here, but if you live where it's freezing...stock up! I included some here that are really cute and affordable!

PATTERNED SWEATERS
I'm not normally a huge fan of patterned sweaters, but these subtle neutral colored ones are great! (I threw in a rainbow sweater for all those on the super trendy rainbow wagon right now haha!) They are a great way to show a little bit of your personality and add some fun to your wardrobe. Are you a strictly neutral gal or would you ever try a brighter sweater like this rainbow one?

OVERSIZED SWEATERS
For those brutally cold days (like the ones we had in Boston all the time) when you basically need to wear a blanket outside! I mean, look at these!! Can you say COZY?! June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe!
