Ten Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me
Happy Wednesday!
I hope you're all having a great week so far! Yesterday was my 27th birthday...yikes I can't believe it!...and I got thinking about all the things I've done in my life, who I am today, and what's gotten me here. I know a lot of you that read my blog probably feel like you know me and my story. You may think I have life figured out or that I always have my crap together. But today I wanted to share some fun, light-hearted things about myself some of you may not know! So here you go:

Yesterday was my 27th birthday...yikes I can't believe it!...and I got thinking about all the things I've done in my life, who I am today, and what's gotten me here. I know a lot of you that read my blog probably feel like you know me and my story. You may think I have life figured out or that I always have my crap together. But today I wanted to share some fun, light-hearted things about myself some of you may not know! So here you go:
10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me!
1. I'm Slightly Afraid of Elevators (Thanks Dad!).
This is a trait I share with my father and it was definitely worse when I was younger. But to this day, I still prefer escalators over elevators. Something about hanging in a big metal box with no windows gets to me!
2. I Had to Have My Gallbladder Removed.
Back in 2013 I was having gallbladder attacks more and more frequently. After ending up in the emergency room over Labor Day Weekend, the decision was finally made to take my gallbladder out. Other than a handful of times when I ate something too fatty, having it removed has solved the problem!
3. My Husband and I Met Playing Soccer.
Both of us are huge soccer fans and one night back in 2010, a mutual friend of ours set up a soccer game and invited us both. And as they say, the rest is history!
4. I've Never Travelled Internationally.
This one is hard for me to admit because I want to visit so many places and travel the world! Some day I will. On the top of my list are Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Scotland, Ireland, and Brazil.
5. I Graduated High School with My Associate's Degree.
My last two years of high school I attended community college full time and earned my AA Degree when I was eighteen. This was a great opportunity and I would totally recommend it!
6. My favorite rom-com is White Chicks.
A little crude and raunchy, but oh so funny. It's such a classic! I laugh every time. Do yourself a favor and watch it!
7. I'm a Small Business Owner.
I own a small online clothing boutique called "Lexi's Loft" that I started back in 2013. Wahoo, LL is five years old this month! Crazy how time flies when you're having fun and work doesn't feel like work.
8. I Love Music.
I always have something playing in the background when I'm working, doing dishes, rocking out in the car, getting ready, or exercising. It always cheers me up and makes my day a bit brighter!
9. I Hate Spiders!
I'm definitely right on the verge of hate/deathly afraid of spiders. They're so terrible and disgusting and I won't go near them. The closest I get is to vacuum them up, but for the most part I make Shawn get them!
10. I Have a Degree in Accounting.
A lot of people are shocked to learn that I went to school for accounting because most people know me as a small shop owner that creates and designs clothing. I always tease and say that one balances out the other!
Well there you have it! I hope you all feel like you know me a bit better and realize that I don't always have my crap together. And it's important for me to laugh at myself and let you all see my vulnerable, less perfect side sometimes. Have a fabulous rest of your week!
