Small Shop Wednesday: T&P Designs

I'm so excited to announce my new series "Small Shop Wednedays" where I will be featuring small shops from across the web! I'll talk about quality, communication, my favorites and more!


This week I have the opportunity to write about T&P Design, a cute Etsy shop based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. I worked directly with the shop owner, Taylor, and she is fabulous!! Her adorable shop features handcrafted quality wood signs with quotes, sayings, and more to "help your house feel more like a home"!

 I ended up getting three signs from her and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! The first one says "Just Love Today" and it's a constant reminder that I totally need. It's so easy to get caught up in life or always focus on what's missing in your life. Sit back, count your blessings, and love today!

Another sign I got says "Live Simply". It kind of goes hand-in-hand with the sign I talked about above, but it also has a very distinct message of its own. We don't need money, nice cars, big houses, the cutest clothes, or any other temporal thing to make us happy. We can live simply and rely on love and relationships to make us happy!

The last sign says "We Were Together. I Forget The Rest". As a blogger, I'm always trying to take pictures and capture the moments of everything Shawn and I do together. Which isn't a bad thing, but I'm often reminding myself that it's ok to just be in the moment and lose myself...to just enjoy spending time my husband. The details don't always matter. It's being with the ones you love!

Ok, now let's talk about quality! These signs are so sturdy and well built! I was super impressed by Taylor's products. I could tell she spent time and put effort into each of my signs! The frame is made of real, thick wood that is stained with your choice of color. I chose the walnut stain for each of mine. I'm not sure how she puts the lettering on the background, but it's on there good and looks so great! The back of the sign is stamped with T&P Design's logo and has a mounted bracket for hanging. Super easy! 




Overall, I'm beyond satisfied with my signs from T&P. Taylor communicated with me promptly and kindly and helped me create pieces perfect for my home! Whether you're looking for a custom wood sign or love one she already has listed, I definitely recommend this shop! Stay tuned for another great shop!

June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe!
