Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am SO excited about the shop I'm sharing with you guys today! I seriously want everything from her site! But before I get into the details, I wanted to let y'all know that I changed how I do SSWs a little bit. I will now be including a spotlight/questionnaire feature with the post so everyone can get to know these fabulous boss ladies and a little bit about what makes their shops unique!

Ok, so today's featured shop is Casa Confetti and I couldn't love it more! Gaby is the sweetest person ever and her shop is adorable! Here's some fun facts about her and her shop! Then I'll talk about the product I got from her and all the details!

I am a designer living in Miami, FL, with my husband, my 2-year-old son Levi, and our Yorkie. I sell invitations, wall art, mugs, and totes.

WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS ALL ABOUT?

I love creating beautiful and affordable items for the most special moments in your life. I started out offering baby shower, bridal shower, and birthday invitations, and I have to say that those are still my favorite; however, I was really missing out on connecting over the day-to-day stuff with my customers and audience! I started offering mugs, totes, and wall art to fill in that void, and I'm so happy! I love creating things that will bring you joy and encourage you to live your fullest, best life!

WHY DID YOU START YOUR BUSINESS?

I've always loved crafting and designing party decor and invitations, and I'd do it for my friends and for myself as a hobby. Before I started my business, I was working as a lawyer in NYC. When I had my son, I started designing invitations and listing them on Etsy, and little by little, it took off! I decided to pursue my business full time, and I'm so happy I did. It's been the best thing I ever did! I still can't believe this is my life.

I'm very much a "people person," so I love the connections that I make through my work. I love making people happy, I love laughing, and I love living-- I'm lucky to have a job that lets me do all those things! I am totally obsessed with my family, and my husband and my son are my life. I've really tried to build a life that lets me focus on them, and I'm so much happier for it. The most important thing to me is living an authentic, genuine life. I'm a little basic, and I love wine, Bravo, pink, and Polly-O string cheese.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU AND GETS YOU OUT OF BED EACH DAY?

My passion in life is making sure that everyone knows that they deserve to live their dream life. It's a big reason why I started offering mugs, totes, and wall art. I love making inspirational prints and goodies to help all of us reach our full potential! Most of all, I love that I can show Levi how important and awesome it is to love what you do.

HOW DO YOU BALANCE HOME AND WORK LIFE?

Levi is in school full-time, so I work while he is in school. I pick him up around 2 pm, and then I try to take the afternoon off and do something fun with him. I find that it helps me relax and recharge to spend my afternoons with him. Once he goes to bed, I will catch up on emails and orders for a little, but I try to also spend time relaxing with my husband, even if it's just sitting on the couch and watching our favorite TV shows. I feel like the longer I run my business, the easier it gets to take a step back and enjoy life, so I'm just enjoying this ride and trying to make the most out of it!

WHAT'S A GOAL YOU HAVE FOR 2018?

I just started offering mugs and totes, so I would love to expand my offerings in those departments. I more than doubled my sales/revenue this year, so I'd love to continue on that trajectory!

ANY ADVICE FOR OTHER SMALL SHOP OWNERS?

Just start! Even if you feel like you can only work in the margins of your current life, even if you don't have the money for an amazing website or branding package-- just start! You can figure it out as you go, but trust me when I say that there will never be a "perfect moment" to start. Focus on delivering a quality product and figure out the rest later. Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle, and in fact, don't even compare your beginning to someone else's beginning! Some people start out with more experience, more funds, a different skill set from yours, a different vision for their business...don't invite self-doubt into your heart by comparing yourself to others.

Now that you know Gaby and a little of what makes Casa Confetti so great, let's talk about this super cute mug she sent me!!! It's says "You Are Killing It" and of course as a fellow boss lady myself, I had to have it! And can we talk about the cute packaging it came in? A little white box with her business logo and sticker on top and then of course confetti inside! Perfect.

Like I mentioned earlier, everything in her shop is SO CUTE and I wanted to get everything! She has adorable makeup bags, invitations, mugs, and totes for weddings, birthdays, holidays and just because! You're bound to find something for everyone...including yourself.

Let's talk quality and size!! The quality of Gaby's products is amazing! The quote and floral design are printed onto the mug and are on there really good! You would never guess that she added on the design and that it didn't come that way, the finish is so smooth. Bonus...the mug is double-sided! So no matter if you're a righty or a lefty, her mugs will work for you! I chose to go with the 15 ounce versus the 11 because, let's be honest, the more cocoa and apple cider the better. Gaby does offer both sizes for all of her mugs, so if you can't handle 15 ounces, 11 is available haha!
