Ready for Fall

Fall is my favorite season by far! The colors, the weather, the food, the clothes. It's so perfect! Today I'm going to share a few of my must haves for a perfect fall wardrobe. Enjoy!


Up first, a great pair of skinny jeans! I absolutely love skinny jeans and there are so many great ones out there! Mine are from H&M. I got them a few years ago so I'm not sure if they're still in stock, but H&M has a ton of great pants for great prices so you're bound to find something! If you live in New England, another great place to find skinny jeans is Primark (see my previous post). Express also has great jeans. Having several different washes and colors is a must. It makes mixing and matching outfits easier. Options are nice!


Next, a warm over-sized sweater! This white open front cardigan from LOFT is so wonderful! It's a neutral color and goes with everything. It's soft and warm for those cooler fall days. And it has a subtle pattern that gives any outfit a bit of texture. Like with jeans, it's important to have multiple sweaters in different colors. I personally prefer neutrals because they go with more things, but if you love color don't be afraid to do a bold mustard yellow or deep red for fall!



One of my favorite things when it comes to fashion is booties! I have so many pairs, just ask my hubby haha! But seriously...I totally believe that shoes can make or break an outfit. These booties are from Primark (I know, that store is my kryptonite) and I couldn't love them more! They are a great neutral tan color, the heel is not too high, and they are super comfortable!


I LOVE THIS TOP! Another fall fave is pumpkin spice everything so this top was a must! It's from my Etsy shop Lexi's Loft and I'm so excited to share it all with you! It's actually a lightweight tank that you can wear on a hot summer day or pair it with a sweater for those chilly fall days. The material is super soft and it's the perfect length to do a partial tuck or leave hanging. Love it!

June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Oh, and we managed to squeeze a super fun camping trip in between those visits! We love having visitors, it makes us feel less lonely and far away from everyone! How to Build a Summer Capsule Wardrobe

Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe!
