Playing Catch Up: April & May

At the beginning of April, my nephews came home with us. Shawn and I had so much fun with Anders and Cam here! We did EVERYTHING with them! We went to the Children's Museum, we played at multiple playgrounds, we made s'mores at a firepit, had an awesome Easter Egg Hunt, went to the Museum of Science...you name it we did it! 
 
Safe to say they had fun on Easter :)

Makin' S'mores

In May, Shawn and I checked an item off our Bucket List! We drove down to Newport, Rhode Island and saw one of the Newport Mansions. This little town is so beautiful and Breakers Mansion is stunning! We had a blast!

June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Oh, and we managed to squeeze a super fun camping trip in between those visits! We love having visitors, it makes us feel less lonely and far away from everyone! And we love showing people around Boston! My parents and two little sisters came out here the first week of June and we had so much fun! We did everything...and I mean EVERYTHING! Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe! Whether you have fun summer vacays planned or just need to freshen up your closet, I'm sure that these capsule pieces will inspire everyone!  The whole point of a capsule wardrobe is to put together a handful of staple pieces from each clothing category that can be mixed and matched to form a wardrobe of multiple outfits. Dealing with Life’s Lemons! Man, I’m falling behind on this whole blog thing! Yikes! I better get my butt in gear. Anyways, I’ve been thinking about a lot of things lately. So disclaimer, this post may be fairly long…but it may also help someone out. I know it definitely helps me to write it all down. Everyone has heard the old saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade…” Well, sometimes I don’t want freaking lemonade! Sometimes I just want to chuck the lemons back at life haha.
