Friday Faves!

I am so excited to finally start sharing my favorite products with you guys! In this post you'll find honest reviews of products I have tried and absolutely love! If you have questions or thoughts to add, feel free to comment!

1. BareMinerals Complexion Rescue // 2. Luxie Brush 660 and 514 // 3. Tarte Bronzer // 4. DLS Blush // 5. PMD

Let's start with one of my all time favorites! You guys, BareMinerals has created such a stellar product! I use this multitasking gel cream every single day. While you can use it on its own, I actually mix it with my BB cream and apply it as my foundation. It has a semi-shimmer-shine finish and sets really well after a minute or two. I love that it never feels cakey on my face, yet I still get the coverage I want! And it's super blendable! You can learn more about applying this product and see an ingredient list here.

So I am very very picky about my brushes! I had never heard of the brand Luxie before receiving these two brushes in an Ipsy bag, and I am now a fan. I use a different brush for every single step of my daily makeup routine, and these two are definitely included! I actually use the Dreamcatcher Precision Foundation Brush (660) to apply a highlighting powder to my cupid's bow, chin, top of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, and sides of my forehead.

I use the Rose Gold Blush Brush (514) to apply blush to my cheeks and the end of my nose. I love how soft this brush is! It's flexible, but has enough structure to hold the powder and apply it effortlessly. So great! For tips on how to care for and best use these brushes, click here.

This next product is so good, that I actually stopped using my go-to bronzer to start using this on a daily basis! This bronzer is so spot on for my skin tone and goes on so smoothly! I just use an angled blush brush to sweep this product under my cheek bones, along the edges of my forehead, and along my jaw line. It adds a nice summer glow and gives my face more dimension and shape. To learn more about this product, click here.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received some Dirty Little Secret (DLS) Blush in my Ipsy bag! I had also never heard of this brand before, but this product definitely made me notice them. I got this blush in Kitty Pink and it is fabulous! Its a light weight fluffy pink powder that I apply with my Luxie Brush 514 (mentioned above). It adds the perfect amount of color to my cheeks. I would definitely recommend it!

Last, but certainly not least...we have the PMD (Personal Microderm)! I got my Classic PMD for Christmas last year and have been loving it ever since!

For those who don't know what this is, PMD is an at-home skincare tool that does the same thing the pros do during microdermabrasion treatments in their offices. It's used once a week (weekly treatments) to get younger, healthier, brighter looking skin. You can read more detailed descriptions and product info on the PMD website, but here's a simplified version of what it does:

- The spinning disc technology exfoliates and gets rid of dead skin cells, stimulating new cell growth and helping skin look more youthful

- The vacuum suction increases circulation and triggers the skin's natural healing process

The end result is fewer lines, wrinkles, and dark spots and smaller pores. Plus it leaves your skin feeling great after every treatment! I would totally recommend this product...and almost insist that every woman own one! It's one of the best things I've ever done for my face! LOVE IT!

*TIPS:
1.  Be sure to watch the instructional video you receive with your PMD all the way through before starting and follow the instructions closely!
2.  Wash and dry your face thoroughly before using your PMD.
3.  Apply a toner immediately after each treatment. Followed by a moisturizer.
4.  Clean your PMD properly after each use!
5.  Slowly work your way up in discs. Don't rush, let your face adjust and get used to each level!
6.  ENJOY IT! Your face will be thanking you forever! :)
