Summer Vacation Part II

After a long day at California Adventure and some much needed rest, we were ready to play hard at Magic Kingdom the next day! This post will be short, because pictures speak louder than words and I have a bunch of awesome pictures to share!

We did it all! We rode Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Train and more! Every minute was a blast and Andersen loved it. His favorites were definitely Toontown and meeting all the characters!

The next day we decided to head to Newport Beach to get some sun, sand and waves! We did some boogie boarding and man were those waves coming in hard! 


The beach was a perfect way to end our time in Cali! We headed back to Utah the next day to spend some time with Shawn's family. All of his siblings were at his parents house when we got there. It was so great getting to see all of them too! We crammed a lot in to the few days we had. We had a baby shower for Shawn's little sister, a graduation party for both of his little sisters, a surprise birthday party for his dad, manicures & pedicures, snow cones, and more! We spent the last couple days before we went home with my family again. We took Andersen to the splash pad, played games, saw the new Mission Impossible movie (which was amazing!), had a surprise visit from two friends, went bowling, played laser tag, ate at Cafe Rio, and rode go-karts. So much fun!

June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Oh, and we managed to squeeze a super fun camping trip in between those visits! We love having visitors, it makes us feel less lonely and far away from everyone! How to Build a Summer Capsule Wardrobe

Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe!
