Happy Monday y'all! 


I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! It was a busy one for Shawn and me. He had three board exams, I had a ton of orders to do, and we had a Christmas party to go to. Oh and we have to move everything out of our kitchen because we're getting new cabinets, countertops and appliances on Wednesday! Wahoo!


My Monday Mood....so ready for Christmas!! I can't believe it's only two weeks away! This year has flown by so fast, but I'm definitely not complaining...this is my favorite time of the year. Shawn and I can't wait to head to Dallas and be with family for a couple weeks! We have some fun things planned. Indoor skydiving, seeing the new Star Wars movie, whirlyball (Google it!), lights at the Dallas Zoo, Annual Christmas Eve Auction, baking old family cookie recipes, the list goes on. All of that is what's gonna get me through the next 8 days!


Ok since Monday tends to be kind of a downer, I figured I'd do some fun things today and help me get in the Christmas mood! It definitely worked. I watched Elf (how can you not LOVE that movie?!), made and decorated (and ate) some Christmas cookies, and rocked out to Christmas music! (Y'all need to check out Lindsey Stirling's new song with Becky G called Christmas C'mon...it's FABULOUS and I'm Uhhbsessed!

June was a CRAZY month for us! My family came out for eight days and then Shawn's parents and friends came out for about five days. Oh, and we managed to squeeze a super fun camping trip in between those visits! We love having visitors, it makes us feel less lonely and far away from everyone! Happy Friday! Isn't summer the best?! The sunshine, laying by the pool, days at the beach, cruises, vacations...it's perfect! Just like I did this spring, I've put together some items to help you build the perfect summer capsule wardrobe!
