Today I'm linking up with my girls Shay and Sheaffer for another round of "What's Up Wednesday"! These sweet gals started WUW, a little link up party where we all share what’s going on in our crazy lives right now. We talk about food, family, what we’re wearing, what we’re doing, what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post! Let's dive in!!   WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: These yummy  kabobs  and this  cashew chicken stir fry !     WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT: Last week Shawn, Brynleigh and I went to Utah to see family. It was such a fun trip! We got to spend a week in beautiful, sunny St George. My little sisters, my grandma and more of Shawn's family got to meet Bryn for the first time! We also had her baby blessing while we were out there. It was a special, perfect day and Shawn gave her the most beautiful blessing. We also took Bryn swimming for the first time! It's always hard to leave St George, but we had a blast and it wa

Our sweet Brynleigh Jeanne [brin-lee jean] is finally here!! We are over the moon in love and exhausted as heck! I've had lots of people ask me about our experience, what it was like giving birth during this COVID pandemic and how everything went. Not everything went according to my birth plan...I like to think it went even better! In this post I'll answer the most commonly asked questions and tell y'all about how our sweet Bryn came into this world! We found out in October that we were finally pregnant after trying for 3+ years! We didn't believe the first positive pregnancy test that I took so I took a few more haha! And we were definitely pregnant!! I won't go into a lot of details about the pregnancy in this post, but I'll do infertility and pregnancy posts soon! Fast forward to the beginning of June. I was 38 weeks pregnant and not showing any signs of progression...my OB said I would most likely go to my due date or past it. At my 39 week appointment I s

We talk about food, family, what we’re wearing, what we’re doing, what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post! This month's is a super fun one because WE HAD OUR BABY!! We welcomed Brynleigh Jeanne into the family on June 14th (her actual due date!) and we couldn't be more in love!   WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: Before I had Brynleigh, I made a TON of freezer meals and it's been so nice having those to eat. I knew I wouldn't be up for cooking, so I prepared and I'm glad I did! Some of the meals are Poppyseed Chicken Casserole, Breakfast Burritos, Shredded Chicken Taquitos, Tuscan Chicken Pasta, Enchilada Casserole, Baked Oatmeal and a bunch more. Pinterest is such a good resource for freezer meals!   WHAT I’

Let's dive in!!   WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: Asian Rice Bowls from Clean Simple Eats! ( Check out their site for more recipes and details! ) Homemade Cauliflower Pizzas (I found the best "non-plant-tasting" cauliflower crusts at Costco, the brand is Molinaro's and it's a kit that's not refrigerated). I love that we can create any kind of pizza we want on them. One of our go-tos is this  Bruschetta Chicken Pizza  recipe. We just use the cauliflower crust instead obviously. So good!
